Rhonda is a fourth year PhD student in the Communication Sciences department and a research assistant at the Center for Health Communication & Marketing. She is focusing her graduate work on health communication from a media and interpersonal perspective. She is generally interested in the portrayal of women's health issues in the media ( i.e., HPV, STIs, pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding). She is currently working on Dr. Leslie Snyder's safe-sex video game grant where she conducts focus groups and personal interviews regarding young adults' safe-sex behaviors. |
